It’s in a completely peaceful setting, yet offers a wonderfully central location right in the heart of the charming village centre. Why not simply leave the car behind whilst on holiday? In just a few minutes’ walk, you can reach the traditional bakery, the butcher’s, a grocery shop and various cosy restaurants. There’s plenty to do in your free time too: beautiful walks, challenging mountain hikes and varied cycle tours in the valley or up in the mountains all start right from the holiday flat. Thanks to the nearby bus stop and the ‘Chiemgau Bahn’ railway station (Prien-Aschau with connections to Munich and Salzburg), you’ll be perfectly connected even without your own car. For your convenience, our property offers free Wi-Fi, on-site parking and a lockable bike garage with charging facilities. We’ve also thought ahead: a wallbox for charging your electric car is available for a fee. Please note that smoking is only permitted on the balcony and pets are not allowed. Environment description A holiday in the heart of Bavaria: our holiday flat in Aschau im Chiemgau is the ideal base from which to explore one of Germany’s most beautiful regions and neighbouring Tyrol. The majestic Kampenwand towers directly above the village and delights visitors with the Kampenwand cable car, stunning panoramic trails and cosy mountain huts. Just a few minutes away lies Lake Chiemsee with its famous islands – a perfect spot for enjoying nature and relaxing by the water in nearby Prien. There’s plenty on offer for culture and shopping too: The charming town of Rosenheim, lively Munich, the historic old town of Salzburg or the impressive Kufstein Fortress in Tyrol are all perfect for varied day trips. Best of all, many of these destinations, museums and highlights can be reached both by car and very conveniently by train. About the host A warm welcome to the Bergblick Loft! We look forward to welcoming you to our peaceful house at the end of a cul-de-sac. Switch off from everyday life and enjoy the panoramic mountain views! Our bright, 60-square-metre non-smoking flat, newly built in 2022, offers plenty of space to relax. As well as the stylish living area with an open-plan kitchen and the separate bedroom, the west-facing balcony is particularly inviting for soaking up the evening sun (smoking is permitted here). The most beautiful walking and cycling trails start right on our doorstep. In summer, the nearby swimming spot or moorland bathing area offers the perfect way to cool off. For children and young people aged 6 to 15, the visitor's tax is €1.80 per person/night. Children up to the age of 5 are exempt from local tax. You pay the local tax for the municipality of Aschau i. Ch. directly to your host. Arrival Description By car: Motorway A8 Munich/Salzburg - exit Aschau / Frasdorf or Bernau, turn left towards Aschau/Kampenwandbahn. Coming from Frasdorf: pass the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., straight ahead on Rosenheimer Straße, past the petrol station, take the first exit at the roundabout. Follow the road for approx. 500 m, in the centre of the village (Sparkasse on the right / Linde on the left) turn into Aufhamer Straße, 2nd street on the left into Sonnwendstr., last house on the right. Coming from Bernau: pass the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., straight ahead on Bernauer Straße, approx. 50 m after crossing the railway track turn left towards the centre of the village. Follow the road for approx. 500 m, in the centre of the village (Sparkasse on the right / Linde on the left) turn into Aufhamer Straße, 2nd street on the left into Sonnwendstr., last house on the right. By train: Munich-Salzburg train connection - from Prien station to Aschau with the Chiemgaubahn - 50 m walk from the station. Description of the accommodation The bright, non-smoking holiday flat ‘Bergblick Loft’, newly built in 2022 and measuring 60 square metres, invites you to relax with its spacious living area and bedroom, separated by a large wooden sliding door. On the west-facing balcony, you can enjoy the evening sun and the view of the mountains. Separate bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and an open-plan shelving unit. Stylishly furnished living area with a sofa bed (130 x 190 cm), flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, a dining table with chairs and an open-plan kitchen. The kitchenette is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, 2-ring ceramic hob, microwave, Senseo coffee pod machine, kettle and toaster. Bathroom with shower/WC and hairdryer. Smoking is permitted on the balcony. Pets and dogs are not allowed.
